Job Type: Full time, 37.5 hrs/wk
Description: Our company is currently hiring a School Social Worker for our client in need of candidates for a high school students. You will play a vital role in supporting students' social, emotional, and academic well-being and provide counseling, intervention services, and resources to empower students to thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Develop and implement intervention plans and support strategies to enhance students' overall well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a positive and inclusive school environment
- Assess students' social-emotional needs and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Connect students and families to community resources and provide support for issues affecting their well-being
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Active Illinois School Social Worker License
- Active IL Professional Educator's License (PEL)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
